Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese – softened to room temperature
- 6 Tbsp butter – softened to room temperature
- 1 (15.25 oz) can whole kernel white corn – drained (or 2 C fresh corn – cut right off the cob)
- 2 tsp fresh chives – chopped
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Grease a 9″ square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese and softened butter
- Gently fold in the corn, chives and onion salt
- Pour the mixture into prepared baking dish
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes
- Stir, then continue baking for another 20 minutes, until heated through and bubbly
Notes:
- Sometimes I add 1C shredded cheddar cheese to the top before I put it in the oven
