• 1/2 C butter
  • 1 box (16 oz) powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 tsp mint extract
  • 3 drops food coloring – optional


  1. Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating until well blended and smooth
  3. Add milk, vanilla, mint and if using, food coloring
  4. Remove mixture from bowl
  5. If using food coloring, knead until color is evenly distributed
  6. Shape into small patties – or roll gently with a rolling pin and cut into shapes with mini cookie cutters
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve
