Ingredients:

  • 2 C flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 C (2 sticks) butter – softened to room temperature
  • 3/4 C brown sugar – firmly packed
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant french vanilla pudding mix (*see Notes below)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 bag (12 oz) chocolate chips – any kind

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda – set aside
  3. In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream together butter with both sugars
  4. Beat in pudding mix until well combined
  5. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined
  6. While beating, slowly add flour mixture until well combined
  7. Stir in chocolate chips by hand
  8. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
  9. Bake for 11 – 13 minutes, or until the bottom edges are light brown
  10. Remove from oven and let rest for a minute or two, then transfer to a wire rack to cool

Notes:

  1. Make sure to use instant pudding mix, not cook-n-serve
