Ingredients:
For the Bars:
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) sugar cookie mix
- 1 box Super Moist white cake mix
- 1 C butter – melted and slightly cooled
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 Tbsp rainbow candy sprinkles
For the Frosting:
- 1 C butter – softened to room temperature
- 3 C powdered sugar
- 2 – 3 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- rainbow candy sprinkles
Directions:
Make the Bars:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease bottom of 13″ x 9″ x 2″ baking pan with non-stick cooking spray
- In large bowl, beat sugar cookie mix, cake mix, melted butter, eggs and vanilla with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds
- Beat on medium speed about 1 minute or until blended
- Stir in 3 Tbsp candy sprinkles
- Spread in prepared pan
- Bake 30 – 35 minutes or until golden brown – check at 25 minutes
- Cool completely, about 1-1/2 hours
Make the frosting:
- In large bowl, beat 1 C softened butter, powdered sugar, 2 Tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla until combined
- Add additional milk 1 tsp at a time until spreading consistency
- Spread over cooled bars
- Sprinkle with rainbow candy sprinkles
- Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows

- You can substitute this homemade frosting with 2 cans of prepared frosting – just use vanilla or cream cheese flavored
