• 1 bag (12 oz) white chocolate chips – melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 1 C (2 sticks) butter – softened to room temperature
  • 1 C powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave oh high, in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth
  2. Allow the chocolate to come to room temperature – if it is hot when you add it to the whipped butter, it will melt the butter and the texture of the frosting will be off
  3. Using a stand mixer, beat the butter for 2 minutes until it is almost white in appearance
  4. Drizzle in the white chocolate, mixing and scraping the bowl as needed as you pour it in
  5. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla
  6. Beat the frosting for 2 – 3 minutes until the frosting is smooth and creamy
