• 1 box cake mix – any flavor (*see Notes below)
  • 3 eggs – beaten
  • 1 can pie filling – any flavor (*see Notes below)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease a 13″ x 9″ x 2″ pan with nonstick spray
  3. In a large bowl beat eggs
  4. Add cake mix and pie filling – stir until well combined
  5. Bake for 25 – 35 minutes – start testing at 25 minutes by sticking a toothpick in the center – when it comes out clean, your cake is done


  1. Get creative by pairing different flavors of cake mix and pie filling – I like Butter Pecan cake mix and Apple pie filling
  2. For an extra rich cake, chop room temperature cream cheese (8oz block) into chunks and randomly poke them into the batter (after pouring it into the bake pan) – make sure the chunks are in deep, covered completely by batter
