Ingredients:
- 1 box cake mix – any flavor (*see Notes below)
- 3 eggs – beaten
- 1 can pie filling – any flavor (*see Notes below)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease a 13″ x 9″ x 2″ pan with nonstick spray
- In a large bowl beat eggs
- Add cake mix and pie filling – stir until well combined
- Bake for 25 – 35 minutes – start testing at 25 minutes by sticking a toothpick in the center – when it comes out clean, your cake is done
Notes:
- Get creative by pairing different flavors of cake mix and pie filling – I like Butter Pecan cake mix and Apple pie filling
- For an extra rich cake, chop room temperature cream cheese (8oz block) into chunks and randomly poke them into the batter (after pouring it into the bake pan) – make sure the chunks are in deep, covered completely by batter
