Ingredients:
- 3 – 4 lbs flank steak – usually 2 packages
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar – to taste
- 16 oz soy sauce – room temperature
- 5 oz (1/2 bottle) worcestershire sauce – room temperature
Directions:
- Slice flank steak WITH the grain into 3/4″ – 1″ long strips
- Whisk together (in this order) brown sugar, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce, ensuring the brown sugar dissolves completely
- Taste – you may need a little more brown sugar
- Marinate the flank steak in a Ziploc bag at room temperature for 4 – 6 hours, mixing it around every hour, or so
- Preheat grill to medium heat
- Grill just until it starts to turn dark brown on both sides – watch carefully, the marinade will burn quickly and you don’t want burnt meat!
