Ingredients:
- 1 stick (1/2 C) butter – room temperature
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 C brown sugar – firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 oz milk (less than a 1/4 C)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2-3/4 C oats
- 2 C butterscotch chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Combine dry ingredients and set aside
- Cream butter with both sugars until smooth
- Beat in eggs and milk
- Stir in vanilla
- Add dry ingredients and chips until mixed
- Drop by teaspoonful onto uncreased cookie sheets
- Bake for 9 – 12 minutes until edges are slightly brown
- Let cool 1 – 2 minutes before transferring to cooling rack
