Ingredients:
- 2 C flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 C (2 sticks) butter – softened to room temperature
- 3/4 C brown sugar – firmly packed
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant french vanilla pudding mix (*see Notes below)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 bag (12 oz) chocolate chips – any kind
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda – set aside
- In a large bowl, using a mixer, cream together butter with both sugars
- Beat in pudding mix until well combined
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined
- While beating, slowly add flour mixture until well combined
- Stir in chocolate chips by hand
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake for 11 – 13 minutes, or until the bottom edges are light brown
- Remove from oven and let rest for a minute or two, then transfer to a wire rack to cool
Notes:
- Make sure to use instant pudding mix, not cook-n-serve
