Ingredients:
- 2-1/2 C self-rising flour
- 1/4 C sugar or honey
- 1 can beer
- 6 Tbsp butter – melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix flour, sugar (or honey) and beer together and pour into a greased loaf pan
- Pour melted butter over the top
- Let stand for 15 minutes
- Bake for 75 – 90 minutes, or until deep, golden brown
Notes:
- Serve warm with butter – this bread does not taste good cold
