Ingredients:
- 1-1/4 lb steak – cut into small cubes (sirloin, tenderloin, rib eye or strip steak all work great)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp garlic – minced
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp parsley – minced – optional
Directions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over high heat
- Season the steak with salt and pepper
- Place the steak in the pan in a single layer
- Cook on high heat for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown
- Reduce heat to medium-medium high
- Add the butter and garlic to the pan – be careful not to burn the butter & garlic
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat the meat in the sauce
- Sprinkle with parsley, if desired, and serve
