Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 pkg taco seasoning
- 1 C mayonnaise
- 1 C chunky salsa
- 2 C mexican blend cheese – shredded
- green onions – chopped – optional for topping
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl beat together cream cheese and taco seasoning until light and fluffy
- Add mayonnaise and mix until combined
- Spread on the bottom of a pie plate
- Top with salsa
- Sprinkle top with shredded cheese
- Garnish with green onions if desired
Notes:
- Serve immediately or store in refrigerator until ready to serve
- Hot Dip Option: Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until the cheese is melted (about 15 – 20 minutes)
- Serve with a thick tortilla chip, I prefer using Fritos Brand Scoops
