Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb fresh green beans (*see Notes below) – trimmed 
  • 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese – grated

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a large Ziploc bag, combine olive oil, basil, garlic powder, salt & pepper
  3. Add green beans and shake until evenly coated
  4. Place beans on rimmed cookie sheet in one layer
  5. Roast 25 – 30 minutes, or until tender and browned – turning beans over once 1/2 way through cooking
  6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve

Notes:

  1. When selecting your green beans, make sure they are fresh/firm and regular green beans, do not use the skinny french ones
