Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese – softened to room temperature
  • 6 Tbsp butter – softened to room temperature
  • 1 (15.25 oz) can whole kernel white corn – drained (or 2 C fresh corn – cut right off the cob)
  • 2 tsp fresh chives – chopped
  • 1/2 tsp onion salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Grease a 9″ square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese and softened butter
  4. Gently fold in the corn, chives and onion salt
  5. Pour the mixture into prepared baking dish
  6. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes
  7. Stir, then continue baking for another 20 minutes, until heated through and bubbly

Notes:

  1. Sometimes I add 1C shredded cheddar cheese to the top before I put it in the oven
