Ingredients:

  • 1 stick (1/2 C) butter – room temperature
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 C brown sugar – firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 oz milk (less than a 1/4 C)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 C all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2-3/4 C oats
  • 2 C butterscotch chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Combine dry ingredients and set aside
  3. Cream butter with both sugars until smooth
  4. Beat in eggs and milk
  5. Stir in vanilla
  6. Add dry ingredients and chips until mixed
  7. Drop by teaspoonful onto uncreased cookie sheets
  8. Bake for 9 – 12 minutes until edges are slightly brown
  9. Let cool 1 – 2 minutes before transferring to cooling rack
