Dad’s Grilled Flank Steak

  1. Slice flank steak WITH the grain into 3/4″ – 1″ long strips
  2. Whisk together (in this order) brown sugar, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce, ensuring the brown sugar dissolves completely
  3. Taste – you may need a little more brown sugar
  4. Marinate the flank steak in a Ziploc bag at room temperature for 4 – 6 hours, mixing it around every hour, or so
  5. Preheat grill to medium heat
  6. Grill just until it starts to turn dark brown on both sides – watch carefully, the marinade will burn quickly and you don’t want burnt meat!
